The COVID-19 outbreak still influences work all over the world. For biosafety laboratories, too, this means significant adjustments to workflows - despite the experience in dealing with viruses and other pathogens.
In this webinar the challenges of keeping up the workflow in a biosafety laboratory as well as the necessary changes are explained. Adaptions in contingency plans and internal operation plans are as crucial as those to stock management and to the communications with sponsors. Personnel safety, risk level, integration of foreign staff have to be evaluated continually and kept up-to-date with the required flexibility, but also with determination. Additionally, our speaker will share his experiences in implementing testing for Covid-19 in his BSL-2 laboratory.
